![]() ![]() One by one, the tree-hugging elves met their deaths. Upon the first guards death, I grabbed his long sword, and felt whole once again. Though my sword was broke, my magic was not. Lost in the passion of my rage, I was unstopable. They left me no choice but to kill them all. Guards came at me from all sides, demanding my death. her lower jaw had completely been torn of, and lay besider her mangled form. Her face had been completely caved in, gore and brains dripping off of my fists. Once my adrenaline rush came to an end, I finally realized what I had done, and smiled. Lost in the extasy of the fight, I lost track of time. Throwing her down, I started pounding on her face. my sword had broken in the ferocious, mindless melee. She ran, but after such a slaughter, I could leave none alive to prove witness to my acts I chased her down. Blood smeared the walls, severed limbs littered the ground. Killing, murdering, pillageing, Ravaging. My sword flew with the power of the possesed. Then the rest of the damn thieves guild came after me, so I had to dispatch them too. She got one or two nice licks on me, but I turned her into a serving of tossed salad. So finally, I got so fed up, I went against Percius Marecius's wishes, and hacked her into little pieces. None of it worked (My speechcraft was about 2). I was trying to get her disposition up to 100, by bribeing, admireing, and finnaly intimidateing. I have her up to 99! You need 100 to do that? I have a question tho: does it matter if you are also part of the thieves guild? Cuz she keeps telling me I have to choose sides and no option comes up to just take the book. I made mz faction with her to 100% then I just asked her for a book. what if my sneak and security aren't so good? And where in the world do you get a ring with 100% chameleon? 20 sec then, hop up on the table behind her, wait for her to face you, activate the ring, run behind her, use sneak and pickpocket the book from her. ![]() all you'll need is a ring or something with 100% chameleon for about. She tells me to choose sides or something and I can't even talk further about the issue. Is anyone part of the fighters and thieves guild and doing this quest for the fighters guild? i can't get sottilde to give up the book. Ghost NPCs in the game are transparent because of a special 'Ghost Ability' which is simply a 50% Chameleon effect.RPGDot Forums - View topic - sottilde and the code book.Regardless, it is suggested that you raise the Disposition of any such NPC to a high enough level that they won't attack you again as soon as the spell effect ends. Due to the chance that NPC will not see you and their disposition drop further, it is more effective to use Calm than Chameleon for this purpose. This allows access to services from NPCs that would normally attack you on sight, such as Qorwynn, the master Enchant trainer. Strong Chameleon effects can be used to approach hostile NPCs and initiate conversation before they initiate combat.A Rally or Calm spell may come in handy in these situations. Many enemies will flee if they lose sight of you during combat. If you are struggling to speak to an NPC, make sure you are talking from the front and don't use too strong a Chameleon effect.Be warned, however, that a Blind spell is considered a hostile action, so it will initiate combat with any targets you are trying to avoid. Blind effects can be used in conjunction with Sneaking and Chameleon to further lower the chance that a target will see you.Unlike Invisibility, Chameleon effects will not wear off by interacting with objects, talking to NPCs, casting Spells, etc. While Chameleon is listed as a percentage, it mechanically does not work as such.If you are under a Chameleon effect and attempt to talk to an NPC, you will initiate dialogue as normal rather than attempt to pickpocket (unless the NPC cannot see you, as listed above). Since this is not a true Sneak effect, the target may move at a normal speed. The chance of this happening is equal to (Chameleon Magnitude - NPC Chance to spot)% In this case, they will immediately disengage the conversation and lose 5 Disposition. If you attempt to talk to an NPC, that NPC might not see you.Note that even if you fail your Sneak Check, the enemy may still fail to notice you due to the first effect. ![]()
